The United People’s Party Liberal was recognised as a State Party by the Election Commission of India on 9 September, 2021, and was allotted its reserved symbol, the “Tractor Chalata Kisan” in the state of Assam.

UPPL’s symbol was carefully chosen to depict the party’s deep connect with the grassroots communities of BTR, and its unwavering commitment towards ensuring the holistic development of all sections of BTR’s diverse, and largely agrarian, society.
